NEW BEGINNINGS - WITHOUT VIOLENCE AND ABUSE IS DEDICATED TO ENDING SEXUAL, DOMESTIC, AND STALKING VIOLENCE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SAFE AND EFFECTIVE SERVICES, INCLUDING EMERGENCY REFUGE AND SUPPORT, AND WORKS TOWARD SOCIAL CHANGE BY PROMOTING AN EFFECTIVE COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO VIOLENCE. NEW BEGINNINGS IS THE ONLY DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE CRISIS CENTER SERVING BELKNAP COUNTY. TRAINED ADVOCATES PROVIDE 24-HOUR CRISIS INTERVENTION, ACCOMPANIMENT, EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR VICTIMS AND THEIR CHILDREN, WEEKLY SUPPORT GROUPS FOR ALL AGES, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMING, AND SYSTEMS ADVOCACY. SERVICES RANGE FROM CRISIS INTERVENTION TO ONGOING ADVOCACY AND ARE CUSTOMIZABLE TO MEET THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF EACH VICTIM/SURVIVOR SO THEY CAN ACHIEVE LONG-TERM HEALTH AND SAFETY.
