DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022, FLT ASSISTED IN THE PROTECTION OF 9 PROPERTIES TOTALING 289 ACRES AND 1 PERMANENT TRAIL EASEMENT. AT THE CLOSE OF FISCAL YEAR 2022, FLT HAD COMPLETED 443 TOTAL PROJECTS, TOTALING 33,835 ACRES OF CONSERVED LAND THROUGHOUT 32 TOWNS IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS.FLT'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN PERMANENTLY PROTECTING THESE LANDS BENEFITS THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING WILDLIFE HABITAT, CLEAN AIR AND WATER, PRODUCTIVE FARMS AND WOODLANDS, AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
