TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE PRINTED RECORDS, BOOKS, GENEALOGIES, NEWSPAPERS, MAPS, PORTRAITS, ENGRAVINGS, AND IN PARTICULAR THE DOCUMENTARY HERITAGE, INCLUDING MANUSCRIPTS, LETTERS, JOURNALS, CHURCH AND CEMETERY RECORDS AND OTHER MATERIALS RELATING TO HISTORY.
