LAND IS ACQUIRED TO EXPAND CONSERVANCY PRESERVES, FEDERAL, STATE, COUNTY AND LOCAL PARKLAND AND TO PROTECT WATERSHEDS, RIVER CORRIDORS, ECOLOGICALLY SIGNIFICANT WETLAND AREA AND HABITATS, AND RETAIN AGRICULTURAL LANDS.THE LAND CONSERVANCY COMPLETED 11 PROJECTS IN THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022, 166.10 ACRES IN FEE ACQUISITIONS AND PRESERVING 223.14 ACRES IN FARMLAND PRESERVATION EASEMENTS.
