THE ASSOCIATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSES ARE TO CONDUCT THE SUSSEX COUNTY FARM AND HORSE SHOW (ALSO KNOWN AS THE NEW JERSEY STATE FAIR), BRING ATTENTION TO SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, ENCOURAGE LEADERSHIP, SPORTSMANSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE YOUTH OF THE COUNTY, DEVELOP AGRICULTURE IN ALL ITS BRANCHES, AND SUPPORT SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY CHARITIES TO LESSEN BURDENS ON LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN MEETING THEIR HUMAN, HEALTH, AND WELFARE NEEDS.

HORSE SHOW DIVISION: TO DEMONSTRATE THE EXCELLENCE AND COMMITMENT OF THE COMMUNITY TO THESE WONDERFUL ANIMALS AND HELP RAISE FUNDS TO DO MAINTENANCE TO THE FACILITY AS WELL AS OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS OF THE SUSSEX COUNTY AREA.
