MISSION:

THE ASSOCIATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSES ARE TO CONDUCT THE SUSSEX COUNTY FARM AND HORSE SHOW (ALSO KNOWN AS THE NEW JERSEY STATE FAIR), BRING ATTENTION TO SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, ENCOURAGE LEADERSHIP, SPORTSMANSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE YOUTH OF THE COUNTY, DEVELOP AGRICULTURE IN ALL ITS BRANCHES, AND SUPPORT SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY CHARITIES TO LESSEN BURDENS ON LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN MEETING THEIR HUMAN, HEALTH, AND WELFARE NEEDS.

FIRE PROTECTION FOR THE BOROUGH OF BRANCHVILLE AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

MISSION:

SAVE ELLIS ISLAND IS A NON-PROFIT FORMED BY THE GOVERNOR OF NEW JERSEY TO PARTNER WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AT THE STATUE OF LIBERTY NATIONAL MONUMENT AND ELLIS ISLAND, FOR THE RESTORATION, REHABILITATION, AND PRESERVATION OF THE UNRESTORED PUBLIC HEALTH HOSPITAL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ELLIS ISLAND. AFTER BEING CLOSED FOR OVER 60 YEARS, SAVE ELLIS ISLAND OPENED SELECT BUILDINGS OF THE UNRESTORED HOSPITAL IN 2014 FOR TOURS AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS FULFILLING ITS MISSION TO REUSE THE BUILDINGS FOR A NEW AND EXCITING PURPOSE. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES THE WORK TO REHABILITATE, RESTORE AND PRESERVE THE HOSPITAL BUILDINGS FOR THIS AND FUTURE GENERATIONS. WITH OUR PARTNERS AT THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, SAVE ELLIS ISLAND ENSURES OUR NATIONAL STORY CONTINUES TO BE TOLD. THE BUILDINGS HOLD COUNTLESS LESSONS TO BE LEARNED FROM OUR SHARED HISTORY OF IMMIGRATION AND PUBLIC HEALTH AND WILL HELP TO PAVE A FUTURE TOWARD COMPASSIONATE CARE FOR EACH OTHER.

TO RENDER PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY SERVICES WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE BORO OF BRANCHVILLE AND THE FOLLOWING TOWNSHIPS: FRANKFORD, HAMPTON, WALPACK, LAFAYETTE , SANDYSTON AND MONTAGUE.

TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY AND SPIRIT OF THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ACHIEVED AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE BY ACQUISITION AND PROTECTION OF THE DAR VAN BUNCCHOOTEN MUSEUM. TO PRESERVE, RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE MUSEUM AS WELL AS PROMOTE THE STUDY OF NATIONAL HISTORY

TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE GREATER WATERSHED ENVIRONMENT OF THE NORTHERN PAULINSKILL RIVER INCLUDING THE SUB WATERSHEDS OF LAKE OWASSA AND CULVER LAKE.
