("VHS") IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CREATED FOR THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF FOSTERING ADEQUATE CARE FOR THE CHRONICALLY ILL THROUGH THE PROVISION OF HOMEMAKER SERVICES, TO SERVE AS A MEANS OF PREVENTING THE DISRUPTION OF FAMILY LIFE CAUSED BY CHRONIC OR ACUTE ILLNESS IN THE HOME, AND OF COOPERATING WITH OTHER PUBLIC OR PRIVATE AGENCIES CONCERNED WITH ILLNESS IN THE HOME.
