PROVIDED HOME CARE SERVICES TO 101 CLIENTS THROUGHOUT FOUR OF THE FIVE BOROUGHS.2.THE PROGRAM PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT TO MORE THAN 154 STAFF, MOST OF WHOM ARE LOW INCOME AND ALSO PROVIDED A SOCIAL WORK/CAREER SPECIALIST TO HELP WITH HOUSING NEEDS, LEGAL ISSUES AND ENTITLEMENT ASSISTANCE. 3.6 SMALL LOANS AND ASSISTANCE TO ACCESS FUNDS FOR HOUSING ASSISTANCE WERE ALSO PROVIDED AS NEEDED. 4.2 AIDES RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS IN ORDER TO COMPLETE FURTHER EDUCATIONAL DEGREES OR CERTIFICATION FOR CAREER ADVANCEMENT.5.INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING AS WELL AS MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUPS WERE PROVIDED BY THE SOCIAL WORK/CAREER SPECIALIST IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING REFERRALS TO OTHER BENEFITS AND SERVICES.
