FOUNDED IN 1899, THE CAMDEN COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY (CCHS) IS A PUBLIC, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE COLLECTION, PRESERVATION, STUDY, INTERPRETATION, AND CULTURAL ENRICHMENT OF LIFE IN CAMDEN COUNTY AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO THE COLLECTION, PRESERVATION, STUDY, AND INTERPRETATION OF LIFE IN CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ FROM 1600 TO THE PRESENT. IT ALSO ENCOURAGES HISTORICAL STUDY AND THE APPRECIATION OF THE REGION'S HISTORY. THE SOCIETY PROVIDES MUSEUM TOURS AND LIBRARY SERVICES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND PRESENTS ON-SITE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.IN 2016 THE SOCIETY EXPANDED ITS MISSION TO INCLUDE OUTREACH TO THE ARTS AND CULTURAL COMMUNITY OF SOUTREN NEW JERSEY.
