THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF THIS FOUNDATION IS TO FUND AND OPERATE THE AURORA BOREALIS LIONS EYEGLASS RECYCLING & VISION CENTER OF NORTH POLE, ALASKA; AND TO ADVANCE COMMUNITY BASED ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS (IN NEED) REQUIRING EYE CARE (EYEGLASSES, EYE-EXAMS, LOW-VISION ASSISTIVE DEVICES, OR MORE COMPLEX AND EXPENSIVE EYE CARE/SURGERIES; ALL WHILE FOSTERING COMMUNITY AWARENESS, BOND AND WILLINGNESS TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR RESILIENCE IN HELPING EACH OTHER.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: CONDUCTED MULTIPLE VISION SCREENING CLINICS, IDENTIFYING SUSPECT VISION AND EDUCATING NEARLY 1500 PERSONS IN VISION IMPAIRMENT/TREATMENT


FUND AND OPERATE THE AURORA BOREALIS LIONS EYEGLASS RECYCLING & VISION CENTER OF NORTH POLE, ALASKA ACCOMPLISHMENTS: RECYCLED 22K PAIRS OF USED EYEGLASSES, SENDING NEARLY 15,000 PAIRS TO ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORTING 3RD WORLD COUNTRY HEALTH MISSIONS AND NEARLY 175 TO ALASKA RESIDENTS IN NEED.
