OUR MISSION: FIVE STEPS TO SELF-SUSTAINABILITY: 1. WATER - EVERYONE DESERVES CLEAN WATER. 2. MEDICAL CARE - EMERGENCY CARE FOLLOWED BY PERMANENT HEALTH CENTERS. 3. FOOD SECURITY - TRAINING IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND AGRICULTURAL SKILLS. 4. EDUCATION - "LITERACY IS A BRIDGE FROM MISERY TO HOPE." KOFI ANNAN 5. MICRO FINANCE - LONG TERM SELF-SUSTAINABLY AND THE ABILITY TO PAY IT FORWARD. OUR GOAL ABOVE ALL IS FOR PEOPLE TO KNOW CHRIST AS SAVIOR. OUR MINISTRY IS TO THE WHOLE PERSON, BOTH PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY.

WATER DEVELOPMENT: WE DRILLED A CLEAN WATER WELL FOR 17 COMMUNITIES WITH A TOTAL POPULATION OF 12,500


CLINIC OPERATIONS AND OTHER PROGRAMS: DONO-MANGA. CHAD. OUR JORDAN HEALTH CENTER TREATED OVER 2,500 MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN. OUR STAFF OF 12 INCLUDES TWO FULL-TIME NURSES AND A FULL-TIME MIDWIFE. 102 BABIES WERE BORN AT THE CENTER. IMMUNIZATIONS WERE ALSO PROVIDED TO CHILDREN IN VILLAGES THAT SURROUND OUR CENTER. GOMBE STATE, NIGERIA: THROUGH A WORLD BANK FUNDED PROGRAM, WE PROVIDED QUALIFYING FUNDS FOR 11 COMMUNITIES THAT ENABLE EACH COMMUNITY TO HAVE A NEW HEALTH CENTER AND A CLEAN WATER WELL. SOURA, NIGER: OUR HEALTH CENTER WITH A STAFF OF 4 TREATED 6,500 PATIENTS OVER HALF OF THEM WERE CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM MALNUTRITION. EACH FAMILY WAS PROVIDED WITH HIGH-QUALITY FOOD TO TREAT MALNUTRITION


ORPHAN CARE: WE PROVIDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT, HEALTH CARE, AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR 125 ORPHANS. ENROLLMENT IN OUR PRIMARY, SECONDARY, AND SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL WAS 1334 STUDENTS WHO MET FOR EDUCATIONAL CLASSES IN TEN SCHOOL BUILDINGS WITH TWO CLASSES EACH. WE PROVIDED PARTIAL SUPPORT FOR THE 34 TEACHERS AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL AS THE LOCALS ARE TAKING MORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS IMPORTANT ROLE.
