THE FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES DIAGNOSTIC AND TREATMENT ASSISTANCE TO THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY FOR SERVICES OR RECEIVE INADEQUATE ASSISTANCE FROM OTHER SOURCES AND WHOSE MEDICAL CONDITION, IF UNTREATED, MAY LEAD TO BLINDNESS. PARTIAL OR FULL FUNDING MAY BE AVAILABLE TO COVER COSTS FOR FUTURE SCHEDULED TREATMENTS. THE FOUNDATION UTILIZES THE PHYSICIANS OF RETINA-VITREOUS ASSOCIATES MEDICAL GROUP TO TREAT SUCH PATIENTS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO USES THE FUNDS TO HELP EDUCATE PHYSICIANS AND PATIENTS.
