PRIOR TO RECEIVERSHIP, FCC AND OTHER GOVERNMENT LICENSING AND RELATED RESEARCH AND ACTIONS: ITS ORIGINAL MISSION IS TO SEEK CHARITABLE GRANTS OF FCC LICENSES; TO PLAN ON THE USE OF FOUNDATION'S FCC LICENSES FOR ITS PRINCIPAL EXEMPT PURPOSE: TO SUPPORT GOVERNMENT IN PROMOTING AND CARRYING OUT ADVANCED WIRELESS IN THE UNITED STATES FOR MORE SAFE,EFFICIENT AND LESS-POLLUTING TRANSPORTATION, AND FOR RELATED FUNCTIONS OF MORE SAFE AND EFFICIENT ENERGY SYSTEMS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING AND PROTECTION. REPORTS IN THE PAST WERE SUBMITTED TO THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION AND OTHERS. ACTIVITIES ARE CURRENTLY DORMANT PENDING FURTHER ORDERS OF THE SUPERIOR COURT.
PRIOR TO RECEIVERSHIP, LEGAL EXPENSES OVER THE COURSE OF ITS ORGANIZATION IN PART WERE FOR GUIDANCE REGARDING FCC AND OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AS IT RELATES TO THE FOUNDATION ON PURSUING ITS CORE CHARITABLE PROGRAM: TO OBTAIN AND USE FCC WIRELESS LICENSES AND AUTHORITY TO IMPROVE THE NATION'S INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS, SMART ELECTRIC POWER GRID SYSTEM AND WIRELESS SYSTEMS, AND TO MONITOR AND PROTECT THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. SINCE THE RECEIVER'S 2015 APPOINTMENT, LEGAL AND OTHER EXPENSES HAVE BEEN FOR PRESERVATION OF ASSETS AND DEFENSE OF LITIGATION BROUGHT BY PRE-RECEIVERSHIP MANAGEMENT.
