RESEARCH & EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION: WITH 50 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IONS IS A RESPECTED THOUGHT LEADER IN THE FIELD OF CONSCIOUSNESS SCIENCE. THIS FISCAL YEAR WE CONDUCTED RESEARCH ON CONSCIOUSNESS AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE PHYSICAL WORLD, CHAMPIONING TWO PILLARS OF OUR STRATEGIC PLAN: IONS DISCOVERY LAB, THE LARGEST STUDY EVER DONE ON TRANSFORMATIVE PRACTICES; AND IONSX, OUR CUTTING-EDGE APPLICATION-DRIVEN RESEARCH PROGRAM. THROUGH THESE EFFORTS, WE COMPLETED 5 RESEARCH PROJECTS, COLLECTED 3,277 RECORDS THROUGH THE IONS DISCOVERY LAB, SUPPORTED 9 RESEARCH FELLOWS, PUBLISHED 13 PAPERS IN PEER-REVIEWED SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS, AND TRAINED 5 VOLUNTEERS. IONS ALSO SERVED NEARLY 78,000 INDIVIDUALS IN ITS CORE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THROUGH WEBINARS, WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS, INCLUDING CONNECT-IONS LIVE, THE SCIENCE OF CHANNELING, LUCID DREAMING & LIVING LUCIDLY.
EARTHRISE TRANSFORMATIVE LEARNING CENTER: 30 MILES NORTH OF SAN FRANCISCO, EARTHRISE IS LOCATED ON 194 RURAL ACRES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE FACILITIES INCLUDE CONFERENCE SPACES, INDOOR AND OPEN AIR CLASSROOMS OF VARIOUS SIZES, DORMITORIES FOR OVERNIGHT STAYS, A CAFETERIA BASED ON AN ORGANIC AND LOCALLY GROWN MENU, ART EXHIBITION SPACE AND OUTDOOR WALKING TRAILS AND GARDENS. EARTHRISE HOSTED APPROX. 600 STUDENT-PARTICIPANTS OVER THE COURSE OF 20 WEEK-LONG EXPERIENTIAL PERSONAL GROWTH WORKSHOPS.
