THE HAWAII CONSERVATION ALLIANCE FOUNDATION'S ("HCAF") PURPOSE IS TO SECURE FINANCIAL RESOURCES FOR THE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE HAWAII CONSERVATION ALLIANCE, ACTIVELY PROMULGATING INFORMATION ON HAWAII'S CONSERVATION VALUES AND NEEDS, FUNDING CONSERVATION GRANTS, AND PROMOTING CONSERVATION EDUCATION AND AWARENESS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

HCAF HOSTED THE 2022 HAWAI'I CONSERVATION CONFERENCE WITH 800 PROFESSIONAL ATTENDEES. ADDITIONALLY, THE HCAF CONTINUED TO IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CONSERVATION CAREER COMPASS PROGRAM TO SUPPORT STUDENTS AND EMERGING PROFESSIONALS IN NAVIGATING THEIR CAREER PATHWAYS. THE HCAF BEGAN PLANNING THE 2023 HAWAI'I CONSERVATION CONFERENCE. THE HCAF BEGAN THE AHUPUAA ACCELERATOR INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT PLACE-BASED STEWARDSHIP INCLUDING COORDINATING A PEER-TO-PEER LEARNING COHORT AND SUPPORTED THE LAUKAHI NETWORK TO COORDINATE NATIVE PLANT CONSERVATION.
