MISSION: TO EDUCATE, CULTIVATE AND INTEGRATE ALL WHO CARE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN BY SUPPORTING FAMILIES AND EARLY LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY SO THAT EVERY CHILD CAN THRIVE. GOALS: TO COORDINATE GOALS, ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS INCLUDING PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO PARENTS AND TEACHERS ABOUT CHILDCARE AND CHILD DEVLEOPMENT. TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF EARLY CHILDHOOD SERVICES AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY. CHILDCARE SUPPORT SERVICES: THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS BY GOING DIRECTLY INTO HOMES, SCHOOLS, AND CHILDCARE CENTERS WITH NATIONALLY-RECOGNIZED EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAMS. THE TEAM OF EARLY CHILDHOOD AND MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALISTS OFFER AN ARRAY OF SUPPORT AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS AND FOCUS ON YOUNG CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO AGE 6. THE TEAM PROVIDES COACHING AND CONSULTATION TO EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONALS IN THE EAGLE RIVER VALLEY AND SEEKS TO IMPROVE CHILDCARE QUALITY AND CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES: THE ORGANIZATION COORDINATES INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES LIVING IN EAGLE COUNTY. ECP PROVIDES PARENTING PROGRAMS TO STRENGTHEN PARENT-CHILD INTERACTIONS AND TO PROMOTE SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN. ECP PROVIDES RESOURCES TO PARTICIPATE IN FAMILY LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES, PROVIDES NUTRITION AND HEALTH/MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AND EQUIPS FAMILIES WITH KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THROUGH PLAY GROUPS AND NEIGHBORHOOD EVENTS.
