OPERATING A RETAIL THRIFT STORE TO PROVIDE A LOW COST SHOPPING ALTERNATIVE FOR LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. ALSO PROVIDING LOCAL JOBS AND TRAINING FOR INDIVIDUALS.
PROVIDE RESIDENTS OF SOUTHERN DESCHUTES COUNTY, NORTHERN KLAMATH AND LAKE COUNTIES WITH TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE IN FOOD, CLOTHING, HOUSING, UTILITIES AND MEDICAL/DENTAL NEEDS. SERVICES TO THE UNDERSERVED ARE DONE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER SOUTH COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS LA PINE COMMUNITY KITCHEN, SUNRIVER CARE/SHARE, NEIGHBORIMPACT AND LOCAL LA PINE CHURCHES.
RECYCLING OF BOOKS, CLOTHING, METALS AND OTHER ITEMS. KEPT SEVERAL POUNDS OF WASTE OUT OF THE LANDFILLS. GREEN INCOME.
