IN 2012-2022 VITAL EDGE CONTINUED EXPANDING THE MICRO-SAVINGS PROGRAM (SFC) IN MALI, SENEGALAND NEPAL. USING THESE PROGRAMS AS A PLATFORM , ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS ARE BEING INTRODUCED ANNUALLY. TO-DATE THESE INCLUDE MID-WIFE TRAINING, LITERACY,AGRICULTURE, AND HEALTH IN MALI, AND ORGANIC COTTON FARMING AND WEAVING, MARKET CONSTRUCTION, MARKET GARDENING AND SMALL BUSINESS FUNDING IN SENEGAL. PURCHASE OF WATER DRILLING EQUIPMENT, ARRIVING IN SENEGAL WILL HELP FACILITATE MORE ECONOMIC EXPANSION OF THE MARKET GARDEN PROJECT, INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND REDUCE COSTS. A CHEESE MAKING WORKSHOP AND CHEESE DISTRIBUTION WAS STARTED TO DEVELOP THE ARTISAN BASED BUSINESSES OF PHAPLU IN NEPAL. RECONSTRUCTION EFFORTS WERE CONTINUED IN NEPAL AFTER THE APRIL 25, 2015 EARTHQUAKE.
