THE SAG HARBOR CINEMA ARTS CENTER, INC PLANS TO RESTORE THE SAG HARBOR CINEMA AND TO PRESERVE THE HISTORIC NATURE OF MAIN STREET IN DOWNTOWN SAG HARBOR, NEW YORK, PROVIDE THE COMMUNITY OF THE EAST END OF LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK, EXPOSURE TO FIRST-RUN, INDEPENDENT, FOREIGN AND DOCUMENTARY FILMS THAT APPEAL TO NEW AUDIENCES AND UNDERSERVED MARKET SEGMENTS, AS WELL AS CONDUCT PROGRAMS PROVIDING CINEMA-ORIENTED EDUCATION, PROGRAMMING AND OUTREACH FOR THE GENERAL COMMUNITY OF SAG HARBOR AND EASTERN LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK. THE SHCAC IS INTENDED TO BE OPERATED TO ENHANCE: CULTURAL VITALITY BY MAINTAINING THE CINEMA'S ORIGINAL ARCHITECTURAL CHARACTER AND IDENTITY MAKING THE CINEMA AN ATTRACTION AND DESTINATION FOR A WIDE AUDIENCE; COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING BY WORKING WITH LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND LOCAL YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS TO EXPOSE PARTICIPANTS TO THE CULTURAL AND FILM INDUSTRY THAT MAY NOT OTHERWISE HAVE THE OPTION, FURTHER ANCHORING SAG HARBOR AS A PLACE THAT FOSTERS RELA

BAY STREET THEATRE IS A REGIONAL THEATER PRESENTING NEW, CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY WORKS, WITH A COMMITTMENT TO CHALLENGING AND ENTERTAINING OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITY. THIS COMMITMENT EXTENDS TO INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT HIGHLIGHT THE POWER OF LIVE THEATER. IT IS OUR MISSION TO BE AN ARTISTIC HAVEN FOR AN EXTENDED FAMILY OF ARTISTS AND AUDIENCE, WHILE CONTINUING TO PROVIDE A GATHERING PLACE TO SHARE IN THE UNIQUE COLLECTIVE THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE.

FURTHER TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE COMMUNITY SUPPORT OF THE NEEDY FAMILIES, IN REGARD TO NUTRITIONAL FOODSTUFFS. FINALLY TO OPERATE A COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY,CURRENTLY HOUSED IN THE BASEMENT OF THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, WHICH IS LOCATED AT 44 UNION STREET, SAG HARBOR, NEW YORK.

MISSION:

FIGHTING CHANCE IS A HOT LINE-TYPE COUNSELING CENTER, FOR THE NON-MEDICAL LIFESTYLE ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH CANCER, AS WELL AS AN INFORMATION CLEARINGHOUSE AND RESOURCE CENTER. THE CENTER IS LOCATED IN SAG HARBOR, NY, AND PROVIDES SERVICES TO CANCER PATIENTS, AND THOSE THAT CARE FOR THEM, IN SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK.
