PROVIDE EQUINE AND SMALL ANIMAL THERAPY TO PERSONS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED TRAUMA, DISABILITY, EMOTIONAL OR PHYSICAL ABUSE. PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR THEM TO HEAL FROM THEIR TRAUMA.

Part 3 - Line 4a

SAMSHA/PROJECT AWARES IS A PROGRAM THAT WORKS WITH AT RISK CHILDREN, AS IDENTIFIED BY LOCAL SCHOOL SYSTEMS. USING EAGALA PSYCHOTHERAPY MODEL, CHILDREN ARE SEEN IN A GROUP SETTING. CHILDREN IDENTIFIED AS HIGHEST RISK ARE THEN SEEN ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. APPROXIMATELY 60 CHILDREN WERE INVOLVED IN THIS PROGRAM IN 2021


PROJECT SOLOMON IS A PROGRAM FOR VETERANS. IT USES EAGALA PSYCHOTHERAPY MODEL TO HELP PARTICIPANTS WORK THROUGH PTSD AND OTHER ISSUES THAT VETERANS HAVE. APPROXIMATELY 4 PERSONS WERE INVOLVED WITH THIS PROGRAM IN 2021.


YOUNG FARMERS IS A MENTORING PROGRAM FOR AT RISK CHILDREN USING EQUINE AND SMALL ANIMALS. THIS PROGRAM MENTORS THE CHILDREN IN ALL ASPECTS OF "RANCH LIFE", TEACHING LIFE SKILLS IN THE PROCESS. APPROXIMATELY 3 CHILDREN WERE INVOLVED WITH THIS PROGRAM IN 2021.


UNBRIDLED POTENTIAL IS A FREE RIDING PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS PERSONS TO "OPEN UP" ABOUT THE TRAUMAS OR DISABILITIES THEY HAVE. THIS ALLOWS THE PERSON TO BEGIN THE HEALING PROCESS. APPROXIMATELY 10 PERSONS USED THIS PROGRAM IN 2021. EAGALA IS AN EQUINE PSYOTHERAPY PROGRAM FOR PERSONS TO WORK ONE ON ONE WITH AN EQUINE AND THERAPIST. THIS ALLOWS THEM TO START HEALING AND OVERCOME EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, AND MENTAL DISABILITIES FROM THE TRAUMA THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED. APPROXIMATELY 4 PERSONS USED THIS PROGRAM IN 2021.
