THE SANFORD-SPRINGVALE HISTORICAL SOCIETY WAS FORMED IN 2005 TO CREATE A HISTORY MUSEUM AND STUDY CENTER IN THE TOWNS FORMER TOWN HALL. THE MUSEUM IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FREE OF CHARGE EVERY THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
