CONTINUOUS OPERATION OF A WORKING NEW ENGLAND FARM WITH DEMONSTRATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AREAS OF AGRICULTURAL TRADITION AND TECHNIQUES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND REGIONAL CROP MANAGEMENT. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDE A SEASONAL FARM STAND, FAMILY FRIENDLY VISITOR AREAS AND SPECIAL DEMONSTRATION EVENTS ON FARMING AND RELATED CRAFT TECHNIQUES.


MAINTAIN AND OPERATE THE MATTHEW HARVEY HOMESTEAD AND OUTBUILDINGS, AS AN ILLUSTRATION OF PERIOD ARCHITECTURE AND MATERIALS, SUCH AS HAND HEWN BEAMS, WOOD PANELING AND TAVERN BENCHES. THE HOMESTEAD IS AN HISTORICAL MUSEUM WHICH IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, AND INCLUDES WALKING TOURS, EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS OF HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND SCENIC RURAL VIEWS.
