HILLSIDES PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE SPECIALIZED INSTRUCTION ENABLING STUDENTS WITH DYSLEXIA AND OTHER LEARNING DIFFERENCES TO REACH THEIR ACADEMIC POTENTIAL AND BECOME CAPABLE AND CONFIDENT LIFELONG LEARNERS.

SPECIALIZED INSTRUCTION - HILLSIDE PROVIDED SPECIALIZED INSTRUCTION TO 116 STUDENTS AGES 7 TO 14, ENABLIN THEM TO CONTINUE TO REACH THEIR ACADEMIC POTENIAL AND BECOME CAPABLE AND CONFIDENT LIFELONG LEARNERS. HILLSIDES INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM IS FOR A HALF-DAY, THUS ALLOWING STUDENTS TO ATTEND THEIR TRADITIONAL SCHOOL FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. IN A SMALL CLASSROOM SETTING OF FOUR STUDENTS, TEACHERS PERSONALIZE INSTRUCTION FOR EACH STUDENTS UNIQUE LEARNING STYLE, LEAVEL, AND PACE. THIS APPROACH REDUCES ACADEMIC ANXIETY WHILE CREATING COMRADERY AMONG PEERS WHO ARE SIMILAR LEARNERS
