THE LOGAN SCHOOL FOR CREATIVE LEARNING OFFERS A UNIQUE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR GIFTED CHILDREN THAT STIMULATES ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENT, CRITICAL THINKING AND CREATIVITY WHILE FOSTERING PEER INTERACTION AND PERSONAL GROWTH. BECAUSE OUR SCHOOL IS PROCESS-ORIENTED, WE ENCOURAGE INVENTIVE THINKING, IMAGINATIVE AND INTUITIVE INSIGHT, AND EXPLORATION AND DISCOVERY OF THE WORLD THROUGH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP FIELD TRIPS. THE LOGAN SCHOOL FOLLOWS A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO TEACHING GIFTED CHILDREN AND ENHANCES CLASSROOM CURRICULA BY OFFERING AN OPPORTUNITY TO INVESTIGATE AND EXPLORE A WIDE VARIETY OF FIELDS. OUR STAFF DEVELOPS A HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED CURRICULUM FOR EACH CHILD'S UNIQUE READINESS LEVEL, LEARNING STYLE, AND PERSONAL INTERESTS. IN ADDITION, SMALL GROUP AND WHOLE CLASS LEARNING ACTIVITIES ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE GROUP PROBLEM SOLVING AND INTERACTION, AS WELL AS PEER EVALUATION. THE LOGAN SCHOOL SERVES CHILDREN AGES 4 1/2-14 AND ENROLLS AN AVERAGE OF 250 STUDENTS PER YEAR. THE SCHOOL BUDGETS 10-12% OF ITS TUITION REVENUE EACH YEAR FOR FINANCIAL AID.
