MINISTRY TIME WITH A COUPLE OR SINGLE IS ONE WEEK, INVOLVING 15-25 HOURS OF INTENSE DIALOGUE, EVALUATION, REFLECTION, AND SPIRITUAL MINISTRY AROUND ISSUES AND CHALLENGES IN RELATIONSHIPS. DURING THE 2023 CALENDAR YEAR, WE MINISTERED TO A NUMBER OF SINGLES, IN PRE-MARITAL SESSIONS, AND IN WEEK-LONG INTENSIVES WITH MARRIED COUPLES. MINISTRY IN CHURCHES RANGED FROM WEEKEND MARRIAGE RETREATS (OFTEN WITH A TEAM OF OTHER COUNSELORS) TO WEEK-LONG SEMINARS OR CONFERENCES FOCUSING ON RELATIONSHIPS WITH SPOUSES, CHILDREN, FRIENDS, AND OTHERS. THERE WERE ZOOM INTERACTIONS, A CHURCH CONFERENCE AND PASTORS ASSEMBLIES, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE AS MENTOR OR COACH TO OTHER COUNSELORS. THE PRESIDENT OF HEARTS ALIVE ALSO INVESTED TIME INTO CONGREGATIONS AND LOCAL LEADERSHIP, AS INVITATIONS COME.
