A NO KILL ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING ANIMAL SUFFERING THROUGH HANDS-ON RESCUE WORK, DEDICATION TO SPAY/NEUTER, SHELTER INTERVENTION, EDUCATION AND AWARENESS.

IT IS THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION TO SAVE AS MANY ANIMALS' LIVES AS POSSIBLE AND REDUCE THE NUMBER OF ANIMALS ENTERING SHELTERS BY RESCUING AND REHOMEING ABANDONED, INJURED AND UNWANTED ANIMALS.THE ORGANIZATION RESCUES DOGS, CATS AND FARM ANIMALS FROM CITY AND COUNTY SHELTERS AND FROM LIVNG ON THE STREETS OF LOS ANGELES AND SEEKS TO FIND THEM LOVING, PERMANENT HOMES. PRIOR TO ADOPTION, ALL ANIMALS ARE SEEN BY VETERINARIANS AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED, VACCINATED AND MICROCHIPPED. THE ORGANIZATION OFTEN RESCUES INJURED OR SICK ANIMALS AND REHABILITATES THEM PRIOR TO ADOPTION. THE ORGANIZATION "OBEDIENCE TRAINS" HOMELESS DOGS TO HELP THEM BECOME MORE ADOPTABLE AND SUCCEED AS GOOD CANINE CITIZENS.


THE ORGANIZATION'S "KEEP YOUR PET PROJECT" PREVENTS ANIMALS FROM ENTERING CITY AND COUNTY SHELTERS IN LOS ANGELES BY PROVIDING CRITICAL RESOURCES TO SENIORS, VETERANS, LOW-INCOME AND PET OWNERS EXCPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. THIS PROGRAM IS IMPLEMENTED THROUGH A HOTLINE, IN-PERSON BILLINGUAL COUNSELORS WHO ARE STATIONED AT BOTH LOS ANGELES ANIMAL SERVICES EAST VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS, AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH PET-FRIENDLY HOMELESS SHELTERS. WE PROVIDE: FREE SPAY/NEUTER, VACCINES, FREE OR LOW-COST VETERINARY APPOINTMENTS, PET FOOD AND SUPPLIES AND DOG TRAINING. WE FIX FENCES AND SUPPLY DOG RUNS, PAY PET DEPOSITS & EDUCATE ABOUT TENTANTS RIGHTS, AND/OR PAY LICENSE FEES AND REDEMPTION FEES. THE ORGANIZATION IS ALSO A LIASON TO ANIMAL CONTROL, SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASING THE NUMBER OF ANIMALS ENTERING SHELTERS, REDUCING SHELTER EUTHANSIA AND HELPING OWNERS KEEP THEIR PETS HOME WHERE THEY BELONG. THE ORGANIZATION RUNS A "PET PANTRY AND PROVIDES SENIORS, VETERANS, LOW-INCOME AND PET OWNERS EXCPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS WITH PET FOOD FOR THEIR COMPANION ANIMALS. THIS PROGRAM IS IMPLEMENTED AT THE LOS ANGELES EAST VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER, THROUGH DRIVE-THROUGH MOBILE PET ASSISTANCE EVENTS AND DELIVERIES. THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO PET OWNER HAVE TO SURRENDER THEIR PET TO A SHELTER BECAUSE OF A LACK OF BASIC RESOURCES AND REDUCE THE NUMBER OF ANIMALS ENTERING SHELTERS.


THE ORGANIZATION RUNS "FIX THE VALLEY" WHICH PROVIDES FREE AND LOW-COST SPAY/NEUTER FOR DOGS AND CATS IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO LOW-INCOME PET OWNERS TO HELP REDUCE PET OVERPOPULATION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO RUNS "FERAL FIX LA AND PROVIDES FREE SPAY/NEUTER TO COMMUNITY CATS WITH THE GOAL TO HELP REDUCE THE NUMBER OF CATS LIVING ON THE STREETS OF LOS ANGELES AND RELIEVE ANIMAL SUFFERING.
