TRANSPORT FACILITATION: COORDINATED THE TRANSPORTS OF 1,416 BONE MARROW OR BLOOD STEM CELLS PRODUCTS FROM GERMANY TO U.S PATIENTS. THIS PROVIDED THEM WITH A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE. (IN 2020 - 1,341).
DONOR RECRUITMENT: RECRUITED 33,258 (43,909 IN 2020) VOLUNTEER BONE MARROW & BLOOD STEM CELL DONORS. THIS INCREASES THE CHANCES FOR PATIENTS DEALING WITH VARIOUS BLOOD CANCERS TO FIND A LIFE -SAVING DONOR MATCH.
REQUEST MANAGEMENT: FACILITATED 353 (371 IN 2020) COLLECTIONS OF BONE MARROW AND BLOOD STEM CELL PRODUCTS FROM UNRELATED VOLUNTEER DONORS, WHICH ARE TRANSPLANTED INTO PATIENTS, THUS PROVIDING A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE FOR THOSE PATIENTS.
