OVERSEAS HELPING HAND'S MISSION STATEMENT IS TO HELP EDUCATION, POVERTY AND MEDICAL NEEDS IN NEEDED AREAS. PRESENTLY OVERSEAS HELPING HANDS (OHH) HELPS TO ALLEVIATE THOSE NEEDS IN A POOR VILLAGE AREA IN FENG CUN VILLAGE IN SHANXI PROVINCE, CHINA. BO AI SCHOOL WAS BUILT IN 2003 WITH DONATIONS FROM BO AI FOUNDATION LIMITED HONG KONG, TOUCHING LIVES OVERSEAS OF CANADA AND OVERSEAS HELPING HANDS, A US 501C3 ENTITY. BO AI SCHOOL HAS 300 PLUS STUDENTS. THE THREE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS CONTINUE TO AID THE BO AI SCHOOL UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2022, AT WHICH POINT THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT BEGAN TO TAKE OVER ALL THE PRIVATELY RAN PRIMARY SCHOOLS (INCLUDING BO AI SCHOOL) IN CHINA. FROM OUR EXPERIENCE IN HELPING THE POVERTY STRICKEN CHILDREN THROUGH EDUCATION, POVERTY, AND MEDICAL NEEDS, MANY OF THESE CHILDREN WERE ABLE TO BUILD BETTER LIVES. MANY HAVE COMPLETED HIGHER EDUCATION AND CONTRIBUTING BACK TO THE SOCIETY NOT ONLY ECONOMIC BUT HUMANITARIAN WAY. IT IS THE OVERSEAS HELPING HAND BOARD'S DESIRE TO CONTINUE TO BE A HELPING HAND TO THE NEEDY CHILDREN OF THE WORLD. AT THIS POINT, OVERSEAS HELPING HAND IS LOOKING INTO SUPPORTING OTHER POVERTY STRICKEN AREAS OF THE WORLD SUCH AS IN THAILAND AND MYANMAR. WE ARE CURRENTLY IN DISCUSSION AND EVALUATION WITH SOME EXISTING NONE PROFITS IN THESE COUNTRIES TO ENSURE THEY HAVE SAME VISION AND MISSION AS OVERSEAS HELPING HAND. THE PLAN IS TO DEVELOP LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP WITH THESE ORGANIZATIONS THAT WILL BENEFIT THE POVERTY STRICKEN CHILDREN'S IN THEIR COUNTRIES.
