TUITION AND SCHOLAR- SHIPS WERE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS WHOSE PARENTS WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE SCHOOL FEES IN THE COUNTRIES OF SOUTH SUDAN AND KENYA. HIGHER EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES WERE PROVIDED IN UNIVERSITY SETTINGS IN GHANA, SOMALIA AND UGANDA. LONG-TERM OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CHILDREN TO ACHIEVE AN EDUCATION LESSENING THE OVERALL POVERTY OF THE INDIVIDUAL AND INCREASING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES. ACCOUNTABILITY THROUGH RECEIPTED EXPENSES AND PARTNER REPORTING. INDIVIDUALS SERVED - 1855


LOCAL INITIATIVES FOR EDUCATION PROVIDED RESOURCES IN DJIBOUTI, PHILIPPINES, ZIMBABWE AND MAURITIUS FOR MICRO-ENTERPRISE PROJECTS. LIFE PROVIDED WIDOWS, SINGLE-PARENT FAMILIES AND WOMEN WITH RESOURCES TO DEVELOP SELF-SUSTAINING MICRO-ENTERPRISE OPPORTUNITIES. OUTCOME HAS ENABLED FAMILIES TO BETTER PROVIDE FOR THEMSELVES AND GENERATE INCOME BY SELLING THEIR EXCESS IN THE MARKETPLACE. THE ITEMS WERE PROCESSED, SENT TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS OVERSEAS IN INTERNALLY DISPLACED AND REFUGEE CAMPS IN AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST. THE OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM SERVICE PROVIDED CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS TO ADULTS AND CHILDREN WHO FLED THEIR HOMES FOR SECURITY REASONS. THE PROCESSING OF THE ABOVE RESOURCES WAS MONITORED BY INDIVIDUAL BOARD MEMBERS.
