THE MASSEQUALITY EDUCATION FUND ("MEEF") WAS ORGANIZED TO ADVANCE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER RIGHTS THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS. IN FY 2022, MEEF PLACED CALLS AND SENT EMAILS TO MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS, PRODUCED WEBINARS, HOSTED VIRTUAL MEETINGS, PUBLISHED MEDIA PIECES, AND LEVERAGED SOCIAL MEDIA TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE NEED FOR EQUITABLE HEALTHCARE, FAMILY BUILDING, COMPREHENSIVE SEXUAL EDUCATION AND THE NEED FOR INCREASED SERVICES FOR HOMELESS, UNACCOMPANIED LGBTQ YOUTH, AGING LGBTQ ADULTS, AND TRANSGENDER PEOPLE. IT ALSO WORKED TO IMPROVE SERVICES FOR LGBTQ YOUTH AND LGBTQ HOMELESS YOUTH AS A MEMBER OF THE NATION'S FIRST STATEWIDE COMMISSION ON UNACCOMPANIED HOMELESS YOUTH AND THE MASSACHUSETTS COMMISSION ON LGBTQ YOUTH.
