HUMANITARIAN AID PROJECT: THE INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY AND RECONCILIATION FOUNDATION (ISRF) PROVIDED ESSENTIAL MEDICINE TO THE KOREAN FEDERATION FOR PROTECTION OF THE DISABLED (KFPD) IN DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA (DPRK). THE TARGET BENEFICIARIES WERE PRIMARILY THE DISABLED CHILDREN IN DPR KOREA. THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THIS AID WAS APPROXIMATELY $36,300. ALL AID WAS QUALITY MEDICINE SELECTED ON THE BASIS OF CONSULTATION WITH UNICEF, WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION, AND DPRK MINISTRY OF PUBLIC HEALTH KFPD WAS CONSULTED AS WELL. ISRF SPENT ABOUT $5,320 DIRECT COST FOR THIS HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE PROJECT. NO GRANTS. HUMANITARIAN RESEARCH PROGRAM: THE ISRF HAS CARRIED OUT THE TRANSDISCIPLINARY HUMANITARIAN RESEARCH PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. IN ADDITION, THE ISRF DELEGATES ATTENDED CONFERENCE SESSIONS FOR THE JOINT STATISTICAL MEETINGS AND WORLD ASSOCIATION FOR PUBLIC RESEARCH BOTH TO PRESENT HUMANITARIAN RESEARCH PAPERS DEVOTED TO PUBLIC HEALTH AND COVID-19 PANDEMIC CRISIS IN KOREA. THE ISRF HAS SPENT OVER $67,600 FOR DIRECT COSTS ON HUMANITARIAN RESEARCH, YEAR-ROUND TRAINING, AND RELATED ONGOING ACTIVITIES. NO GRANTS.
