CAMPAIGN FOR AMERICAN RENEWALWORKING WITH US CITIZEN DIASPORA GROUPSA TOTAL OF 5 SEPARATE MEETINGS WERE ORGANIZED BY THE USA TEAM DURING 2016 THAT BROUGHT TOGETHER OVER 50 REPRESENTATIVES OF DIFFERENT DIASPORA GROUPS. THE PREMISE FOR MEETING WITH THESE GROUPS IS BASED ON THE POINT THAT MANY DIASPORA GROUPS COME TO THE US CLINGING FIRMLY TO STRONG FAITH AND FAMILY VALUES AND THUS THIS IS TRANSFERRED DEMONSTRATED BEHAVIOUR IN DAILY LIFE IN AMERICA.CLEARLY, A FOUNDATION OF INTEREST WAS ESTABLISHED AMONG THE GROUPS WHERE NOW GPF-USA CAN BRING THE DIFFERENT DIASPORA GROUPS TOGETHER TO PURSUE A STRATEGY OF WORKING COLLECTIVELY TOWARD REVITALIZING THE UNDERLYING PRINCIPLES AND VALUES THAT ARE AT THE ROOT OF AMERICA. FIRST AMENDMENT VOICE ALLIANCE DEVELOPED COMPREHENSIVE CONTENT ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROVIDE 4-HOUR TRAIN THE TRAINER FORUMS. (7) SEVEN TRAIN THE TRAINER SESSIONS WHERE HELD WITH A MINIMUM OF 15 CLERGY AND FAITH LEADERS PARTICIPATING IN EACH. A TOTAL OF 105 CLERGY WHERE TRAINED. 104 SURVEYS WHERE RECEIVED AFTER THE TRAINING SESSIONS.CREATED A FREE MEMBERSHIP PLATFORM TO GROW THE FAV BASE. AS A RESULT, (82) EIGHTY-TWO NEW MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS SIGNED ON. IN ADDITION, (4) UNIVERSITIES HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AND RELATIONSHIPS ARE UNDER DEVELOPMENT. AS A RESULT, (3) THREE CAMPUS HOSTED EVENTS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED WITHIN THE FIRST (3) MONTHS OF 2017. THROUGH AN EFFORT TO GENERATE AWARENESS AROUND FIRST AMENDMENT EDUCATION AND CURRENT ISSUES, FAV PRINCIPALS HAVE BEEN INVITED TO PARTICIPATE AS PRESENTERS AND SPEAKERS AT (5) FIVE DIFFERENT EVENTS. I.E., DOUGLASS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE HAMPTON UNIVERSITY FORUM; KOREAN CHURCHES FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (KCCD) ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON, DC; LIBRE CONFERENCES IN FLORIDA AND LAS VEGAS; AND A FORUM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA. IN EACH CASE, THE ORGANIZERS HAD PARTICIPATED IN FAV TRAININGS AND THUS RECOGNIZED THE SIGNIFICANT VALUE THAT FAV WOULD BRING TO THEIR RESPECTIVE ASSEMBLED CONSTITUENTS. FAV HAS BEEN RESEARCHING ISSUES AND POLICIES THAT HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO NEGATIVELY IMPACT THE GUARANTEES OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT. THROUGH THIS RESEARCH, FAV IDENTIFIED THE U.S. COMMISSION ON CIVIL RIGHTS (USCCR) ISSUE OF A DAMAGING REPORT AGAINST THE FREEDOM OF RELIGION. AS A RESULT, A REBUTTAL HAS BEEN DRAFTED AND PUBLISHED BY FAV. WE HAVE ENGAGED THE OFFICE OF CONGRESSMAN JOHN LEWIS WHO HAS USED THEIR OFFICE TO REQUEST AND RECEIVED BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON BEHALF OF FAV. OUTCOMESAS A DIRECT RESULT FROM ALL AREAS OF OUTPUT, OUR SURVEYS RECOGNIZED THAT AN OVERWHELMING 96% OF PARTICIPANTS IN THE TRAIN THE TRAINER SESSIONS RECEIVED EDUCATION & AWARENESS ON FIRST AMENDMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE SURVEY RESULTS ALSO DEMONSTRATED FROM THE TRAININGS, 100% OF THE PARTICIPANTS FOUND THE TRAINING EFFECTIVE & 89% BELIEVED THEY WERE AT LEAST MODERATELY PREPARED TO INFORM AND EDUCATE OTHERS AS A RESULT OF THE TRAINING. AS THE TRAININGS PROGRESSED, 71% OF THE NEW TRAININGS WHERE HOSTED AND CO-CONVENED BY PREVIOUS PARTICIPANTS. WE HAVE SEEN A DRAMATIC INCREASE IN AWARENESS AND DISCUSSION ACROSS OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AS INDIVIDUALS IDENTIFY AND SHARE POTENTIAL ATTACKS OR CHALLENGES AGAINST THE FIRST AMENDMENT. SAFE HAVEN OUTPUTSHELD SEVEN INTRODUCTORY PROGRAMS, TRAINING 367 PEOPLE, WITH AN ESTIMATED PUBLIC AWARENESS REACH OF 1,106. ONE OF THE TRAININGS WAS FOR THE NATIONAL COUNSELING GROUP, WHO WOULD LIKE TO HOLD A TRAINING AT THEIR ANNUAL CONVENTION.MAINTAINED PRESENCE ON NORTHERN VA TASK FORCE AND THEIR SPEAKER'S BUREAU CONVENED CCE CONFERENCE IN BILLINGS WITH 100 CITY LEADERSOUTCOMESAS A DIRECT RESULT FROM ALL AREAS OF OUTPUT, THERE IS A LEVEL OF EDUCATION WHICH UPGRADES THE PREVENTION OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING. AS THE PRESENTATION PROGRESSED, THERE WERE 2 OR 3 COUNSELORS WHO MENTIONED THAT THEY SUSPECTED THAT THEIR CLIENT COULD BE IN DANGER, OR THAT THE CLIENT COULD BE A VICTIM OF FAMILIAL TRAFFICKING. STRENGTHENING FAMILIES & COMMUNITIES COALITIONOUTPUTSPLANNED AND DEVELOPMENT OF 3 DEFINING INITIATIVES RAISING AWARENESS AND GALVANIZING COMMUNITY PARTNERS IN EACH OF THE COALITIONS TO WORK TOWARD A SHARED COMMON GOAL. CONVENED 20 COALITION MEETINGS TO ADVANCE THE KEY INITIATIVES (ATL., DC, NY, NJ)SUPPORTED BRINGING 50 PARTICIPANTS TO IYLA BASED ON OUTREACH BY THE SFCC'S.SFCC BRANDING AND AWARENESS INCREASED THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE (ATL: FACEBOOK AND PERISCOPE; DC: DEVELOPMENT OF A WEBSITE PRESENCE; NY/NJ: IMPROVED INFORMATION SHARING NOTING 81 ARTICLES UPLOADED AND MAINTENANCE OF NY WEBSITE) OUTCOMESFCC'S HAVE BECOME PREFERRED "GO TO ORGANIZATIONS BY HUMAN SERVICE NON-PROFITS BECAUSE OF THEIR CONSISTENT PRESENCE IN THE COMMUNITY THAT HAVE ATTRACTED HIGH PROFILE LEADERS INTERESTED IN SPEAKING AND ENGAGING COALITION PARTNERS.STRATEGY GPF HAS BEEN ENGAGING LOCAL LEADERS THROUGH SIGNIFICANT COMMUNITY OUTREACH IN JERSEY CITY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS. CCE BUILDS SOCIAL COHESION BY BRINGING DIVERSE STAKEHOLDERS TOGETHER TO COLLABORATE ON MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL SOCIAL INNOVATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS. THROUGH THESE STAKEHOLDERS, GPF RECRUITS SEPARATE AND DIVERSE YOUTH GROUPS FOR THE PURPOSE RECONCILING DIFFERENCES AND BUILDING SOCIAL COHESION WITH THE 3-PHASE "CROSS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT" PROGRAM VIA "MANAGED CONTACT THEORY" PROJECTS ADDRESS COMMUNITY NEEDS AND PROVIDE PEACEBUILDING & ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING TO PARTICIPANTS.OUTPUTSORGANIZED CCE STAKEHOLDERS MEETING AT THE JCPD WEST PRECINCT ON MAY 26TH. TOTAL 25 LOCAL LEADERS WERE PRESENT.ORGANIZED CCE 2 DAY'S FACILITATORS TRAINING SESSION AT THE BETHUNE CENTER ON JULY 18TH & 19TH. TOTAL 25 LOCAL LEADERS WERE PRESENT.LAUNCHED CCE PILOT PROGRAM OFFICIALLY ON JULY 19TH. THERE ARE 2 GROUPS; AFRICAN AMERICAN YOUTH GROUP AND AFRO-LATINO YOUTH GROUP WITH EACH 2 ADULT FACILITATORS, AND TOTAL 15 PRE-CONTACT MEETINGS WERE HELD SEPARATELY BEFORE THE 1ST CONTACT MEETING ON NOVEMBER 19TH.ORGANIZED CCE 1ST CONTACT MEETING ON THE FOUNDATION OF PRE-CONTACT MEETINGS AT THE BETHUNE CENTER AND SOCIAL ACTIVITY ON NOV. 19TH.ORGANIZED CCE 1ST CONTACT MEETING ON THE FOUNDATION OF PRE-CONTACT MEETINGS AT THE BETHUNE CENTER AND SOCIAL ACTIVITY ON NOV. 19TH.AS A RESULT OF THE MEETING BETWEEN GPF LEADERS AND THE HASEGAWA INC. IN APRIL, CCE COULD SECURE FUNDING FOR 1 YEAR OPERATION, AND COULD OFFICIALLY LAUNCH THE PROGRAM WITH 2 YOUTH GROUPS SINCE JULY 19TH.OUTCOMES30 JERSEY CITY MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS HAVE GONE THROUGH THE PRE-CONTACT PHASE AND NOW THE 1ST CONTACT MEETING AND HAVE GAINED A POSITIVE ATTITUDE TRYING TO KNOW ONE'S IDENTITY AND COMMUNITY. THIS HAS LED TO UNDERSTANDING OTHERS AND THUS EXPANDING HORIZONS TO MAKE POSITIVE DIFFERENCES IN JERSEY CITY. STAKEHOLDERS FROM THE FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND COMMUNITY LEVELS ARE FULLY ENGAGED AND EVEN EXCITED ABOUT THE PROJECTS PROGRESS. GLOBAL PEACE YOUTHOUTPUTSGPY USA PRODUCED AN IYLA LEADER HANDBOOK FOR THE FULL IYLA PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS, A CAMPUS MANUAL FOR FUTURE CLUBS, SHARED VALUES DISCUSSION GUIDE AND A LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP MANUAL.IN APRIL, GPY USA HOSTED A PROJECT ON EARTH DAY IN WASHINGTON STATE INVOLVING OVER 80 VOLUNTEERS. IN SEPTEMBER, GPY USA COORDINATED AN 11-DAY SERVICE CAMPAIGN IN GEORGIA, MARYLAND, MONTANA, NEW JERSEY AND NEW YORK. A TOTAL OF 3244 VOLUNTEERS WERE RECRUITED DURING THE 11-DAY CAMPAIGN COMMITTING TO 48 DIFFERENT PROJECTS AND FULFILLING 4113 HOURS OF SERVICE. GPF JOINED A SIGNIFICANT PARTNERSHIP WITH A GROWING COALITION CALLED TOMORROW TOGETHER WHICH INCLUDE MAJOR NATIONAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS.GPY USA UTILIZED THE WEB TO FEATURE A YOUTH LEADER EVERY MONTH REACHING A TOTAL OF 7,501 PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK. EACH MONTH STORIES WERE PRODUCED FOR THE WEBSITE REACHING 5,856 PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK. 12 DIFFERENT ONLINE GATHERINGS WITH OTHER YOUTH LEADERS. IN APRIL, GPY USA CO-HOSTED A KOREAN UNIFICATION FORUM ON NEW YORK UNIVERSITY TOGETHER WITH FREEDOMS 4 NORTH KOREA. OVER 30 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT. F4NK SPONSORED THE VENUE AND SPEAKER FEE FOR THE KEYNOTE SPEAKER MR. MICHAEL MARSHALL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT. OUTCOMESTHERE IS A GROWING CONSENSUS OF A NEW BRAND OF LEADERSHIP THAT IS NEEDED FOR THIS GENERATION. THIS INCLUDES THE IMPORTANCE OF GUIDING PRINCIPLES TO LEADERSHIP AND SHARED VALUES THAT NAVIGATE HOW ONE CONDUCTS HIS/HER LIFE.IYLA FULL PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE HEART OF LEADERSHIP IS IN SERVING THE GREATER GOOD RATHER THAN ONE'S PERSONAL INTEREST. THROUGH INTROSPECTION AND SELF-REFLECTION, THEY HAVE GAINED GREATER CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES AS LEADERS AND IN WHAT THEY HOPE TO BRING TO THIS WORLD.YOUTH INVOLVED IN GPY SERVICE PROJECTS BROADEN THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THE APPLICATION OF SERVICE THAT GOES BEYOND THE PROJECT ITSELF BUT INTO EVERYDAY LIFE AND INTERACTIONS.YOUTH CONNECTING TO ONLINE CONVERSATIONS HOSTED BY GPY RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF IDENTIFYING HUMANITY'S COMMONALIT
