THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A FOOD PANTRY IN RURAL WESTERN MAINE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE BELOW 150% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL OR WHO CANNOT MEET THEIR NUTRITIONAL NEEDS DUE TO A HOUSEHOLD EMERGENCY. IT ALSO WORKS WITH CLIENTS TO HELP SOLVE THE UNDERLYING ISSUES THAT REQUIRE THEIR USE OF FOOD PANTRYS AS WELL AS PROVIDE NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION THROUGH A VOLUNTEER NUTRITIONIST. ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO THE CLIENT. DURING 2021 THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED OVER 200,000 POUNDS OF FOOD TO OVER 3,000 CLIENTS.
