IN 2021, CHILD PROTECT OFFICIALLY MOVED FROM OPERATING SOLELY AS A CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER CAC PROGRAM TO BEING AN AGENCY WITH TWO FULLY STAFFED PROGRAMS UNDERNEATH OUR ORGANIZATIONAL UMBRELLA OUR LONGSTANDING CAC PROGRAM AND OUR NEW STARTING POINTS FAMILY RESOURCE VISITATION CENTER. OUR CAC PROGRAM CONDUCTED 179 FORSENSIC INTERVIEWS WITH SUSPECTED VICTIMS OF CHILD ABUSE, PROVIDED 23 ON-SITE FORENSIC MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS, INITIATED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING FOR 303 SURVIVORS OF ABUSE AND PROVIDED ADVOCACY, SUPPORT AND CASE COORDINATION FOR 258 CASES INVOLVING CHILD ABUSE ALLEGATIONS.
DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF STARTING POINTS SERVICE PROVISION FOR SUPERVISED FAMILY VISITATION SERVICES, WE RECEIVED 60 REFERRALS AND SCHEDULED 687 SUPERVISED FAMILY VISITATION SESSIONS.
