THE COALITION'S IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM SERVED INDIANA BY WORKING TO INCREASE IMMUNIZATION RATES AND DECREASE VACCINE-PREVENTABLE DISEASE RATES THROUGHOUT THE STATE. THE COALITION PROVIDED INTER-PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR IMMUNIZATION PRACTITIONERS, AS WELL AS WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT AND TASK FORCES. THE COALITION HOSTED LOCAL AND REGIONAL CONFERENCES TO IMPROVE PROVIDER AND CONSUMER EDUCATION AND OFFERED CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS TO PRACTITIONERS FOR LIVE AND WEB-BASED LEARNING. THE COALITION CONTINUED TO COLLABORATE AND CREATE STRATEGIC ALLIANCES FOR IMMUNIZATION EDUCATION IMPROVEMENT, WITH A SHIFT TOWARD VIRTUAL MEETINGS AND ENGAGEMENTS IN LIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
THE COALITION CONTINUED TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT IMMUNIZATIONS VIA THEIR WEBSITE, EMAIL MARKETING, AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS. EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES WERE DISSEMINATED TO IMMUNIZATION PRACTITIONERS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF INDIANA, AND PARTNERSHIPS CONTINUED WITH COLLEGE CAMPUSES TO FURTHER PROMOTE VACCINE AWARENESS. SEVERAL SUMMITS WERE HOSTED AROUND THE STATE TO ENGAGE HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS IN SHARED IMMUNIZATION INITIATIVES.
THE COALITION'S CLINIC PROGRAM DISPENSED VACCINES AND IMMUNIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF INDIANA.
