IN 2021, READ MINISTRIES SPONSORED AND CONDUCTED VARIOUS CHRISTIAN-LITERATURE-BASED MINISTRY INITIATIVES IN VARIOUS COUNTRIES OF EURASIA. THESE COUNTRIES INCLUDED UKRAINE, KYRGYZSTAN, AND KAZAKHSTAN, AS WELL AS SEVERAL OTHER RESTRICTED-ACCESS COUNTRIES IN CENTRAL ASIA. THESE MINISTRY INITIATIVES INVOLVED THE TRAINING OF WORKERS FOR MINISTRY IN EVANGELICAL CHURCHES, DISTRIBUTION OF CHRISTIAN LITERATURE AND OTHER TYPES OF MEDIA RESOURCES, AS WELL AS RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLICATION INITIATIVES.IN 2021, READ MINISTRIES CONCLUDED ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF CHURCH LITERATURE SPECIALIST TRAINING AT THE MINSK THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY (IN BELARUS), RIVNE REGIONAL BIBLE COLLEGE (IN UKRAINE), AND ZAPORIZHZHYA BIBLE SEMINARY (IN UKRAINE). ALL THESE PARTNER SCHOOLS OF READ MINISTRIES CONCLUDED THEIR RESPECTIVE TWO-YEAR TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR PREPARING LITERATURE SPECIALISTS TO SERVE IN LOCAL EVANGELICAL CHURCHES. THESE ACHIEVEMENTS WERE CELEBRATED AT THE SPRING-TIME GRADUATIONS OF 30 NEW CHURCH LITERATURE SPECIALISTS FOR EURASIA.IN 2021, READ MINISTRIES CONTINUED ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF 25 CHURCH LITERATURE SPECIALISTS TRAINING AT KREMENCHUK EVANGELICAL SEMINARY (IN UKRAINE). THESE 25 STUDENTS CAME FROM CHURCHES LOCATED IN CENTRAL UKRAINE, AS WELL AS CHURCHES NEAR THE WAR ZONE IN EASTERN UKRAINE. IN ADDITION, READ MINISTRIES CONTINUED ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF 75 STUDENTS, IN BALAKLIYA, KHARKOV OBLAST, UKRAINE (A BRANCH CAMPUS OF KREMENCHUK EVANGELICAL SEMINARY), PROVIDING FOR THEIR TUITION, ROOM, BOARD, TEXTBOOKS, AND LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT IN THIS LOCATION, NOT FAR FROM THE CONFLICT ZONE IN EASTERN UKRAINE.THE TRAINING OF CHURCH LITERATURE SPECIALISTS CONTINUES TO INCLUDE AN EXPANDED EMPHASIS ON BIBLE-BASED COUNSELING TRAINING. THIS EMPHASIS IS DUE TO THE GROWING, STRESS-RELATED NEEDS OF MANY IN UKRAINE DUE TO ITS ON-GOING WAR WITH RUSSIA, AND THE SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS OF INTERNALLY DISPLACED PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY WOMEN AND CHILDREN.IN ADDITION TO THE TRAINING OF LITERATURE SPECIALISTS FOR SERVICE IN THEIR LOCAL CHURCHES, EACH LOCAL CHURCH, THAT SENDS ONE OF ITS MEMBERS FOR TRAINING, RECEIVES A 300-VOLUME CHURCH LENDING LIBRARY THROUGH THE GENEROSITY OF READ MINISTRIES. IN 2021, READ MINISTRIES DISTRIBUTED A TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY 4,800 BOOKS TO THE 75+ LOCAL CHURCHES PARTICIPATING IN THESE INITIATIVES OF READ MINISTRIES AND ITS PARTNER SCHOOLS.IN 2021, READ MINISTRIES DONATED LITERATURE RESOURCES TO STUDENTS AND GRADUATES OF VARIOUS MEMBER THEOLOGICAL SCHOOLS OF THE EURO-ASIAN ACCREDITING ASSOCIATION (EAAA), BASED IN WESTERN UKRAINE. EACH OF THE APPROXIMATELY 200 GRADUATES OF ACCREDITED DEPARTMENTS WITHIN THESE MEMBER SCHOOLS OF EAAA RECEIVED A GIFT OF ABOUT 8-10 BOOKS UPON THEIR GRADUATION IN 2021. IN 2021, READ DONATED 10 TEXTBOOKS TO EACH OF THE APPROXIMATELY 30 GRADUATE-LEVEL STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE MASTER'S IN CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM, CONDUCTED JOINTLY BY THE TAVRISKY CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE AND THE KREMENCHUK EVANGELICAL SEMINARY. IN 2021, READ MINISTRIES OFFERED FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE GENERAL BUDGET OF THE KREMENCHUK EVANGELICAL SEMINARY AND ITS MISSIONARY TRAINING CENTER, BOTH LOCATED IN THE CENTRAL UKRAINIAN CITY OF KREMENCHUK. READ'S SUPPORT HAS PROVIDED FOR THE 200+ STUDENTS BEING TRAINED BY ITS HISTORIC, LEGACY MINISTRY PARTNERS IN KREMENCHUK, UKRAINE. IN ADDITION, FUNDS WERE PROVIDED FOR FOREIGN MINISTRY SUPPORT SERVICES, WHICH INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, BOOK STORAGE, VAN OPERATIONS, AND DELIVERY SERVICES.IN 2021, READ MINISTRIES PROVIDED FUNDING FOR THE INDIGENOUS LANGUAGE PUBLICATION INITIATIVE OF CHARLES RYRIE'S BOOK "BASIC THEOLOGY" FOR OUR PARTNERS IN BOTH KYRGYZSTAN AND KAZAKHSTAN.
