ORGANIZATION'S MISSION OR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES BENDFILM CELEBRATES THE BRAVE VOICE OF INDEPENDENT CINEMA THROUGH FILM SCREENINGS, LECTURES AND EDUCATION. BENDFILM'S BIGGEST PROGRAM IS THE ANNUAL FILM FESTIVAL, A FOUR-DAY EVENT HELD EACH OCTOBER AND NOW IN ITS 19TH YEAR IN 2022. BENDFILM ALSO HOSTS FILM SCREENINGS AND ACCOMPANYING DISCUSSIONSTHROUGHOUT THE YEAR TOTALING AN ADDITIONAL 24 SCREENINGS, INCLUDING THE TIN PAN THEATER PURCHASED IN 2019. BENDFILM'S PREMIER EDUCATION PROGRAM, FUTURE FILMMAKERS, TAKES PLACE DURING THE ANNUAL FILM FESTIVAL. AREA STUDENTS ALSO RECEIVE IN CLASS MENTORING THROUGH BENDFILM STAFF.
