CONSUMER EVENTS: DURING 2022, THE OREGON CHEESE FESTIVAL WAS HELD AT THE JACKSON COUNTY EXPO IN SOUTHERN OREGON. THERE WERE 3,100 ATTENDEES OVER TWO DAYS. IN THE FALL THE WEDGE IN PORTLAND, OREGON HAD 1,000 ATTENDEES AND THE OREGON CHEESE FOR THE HOLIDAYS PROGRAM DISTRIBUTED 350 TASTING KITS. THE AMERICAN CHEESE SOCIETY'S ANNUAL INDUSTRY CONFERENCE CAME TO PORTLAND IN JULY OF 2022 FOR AN UNPARALLELED OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE OREGON FOOD AND BEVERAGE VIA SEVERAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE CONFERENCE. NOTABLY, A BEST OF OREGON EVENT WAS HELD IN COLLABORATION WITH OTHER COMMISSIONS AND AGENCIES TO SHOW OFF THE BEST OF OREGON FOOD AND BEVERAGE, OCG RAN MULTIPLE CONFERENCE SEMINARS AND TASTINGS TO HIGHLIGHT OREGON'S CULINARY STANDOUTS.
INDUSTRY COMMUNICATION AND OPPORTUNITIES: OCG CONTINUED TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION AND PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO MEMBERS AND PARTNERS.
GENERAL MARKETING: DURING 2022 OCG CONTINUED TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF OREGON ARTISAN CHEESE THROUGH THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, AND BY DISTRIBUTING THE OREGON CHEESE TRAIL MAP.
