CADET POLICE ACADEMY - THIS IS A WEEK LONG ACADEMY WHERE YOUTH GO THROUGH DIFFERENT PHASES OF TRAINING EACH YEAR THEY WILL ATTEND. THERE ARE SIX CURRENT PROGRAMS INCLUDING; BASIC, ADVANCED, MOCK POLICE DEPT, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, POLICE MOUNTAIN BIKE, AND PRACTICAL SKILLS PROGRAM. YOUTH ATTEND FROM CT RI MA & NY.
CT POLICE CADET STATIONS DAY & SWAT EVENT - THESE ARE ANNUAL EVENTS HELD AT THE CT POLICE ACADEMY WHERE YOUTH FROM CT, MA & NY ATTEND TO COMPETE AND RECEIVE ADDITIONAL TRAINING IN SITUATIONS FACED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT ON A DAILY BASIS.
