THIS BELIEF IS GROUNDED IN 20+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PREPARING YOUNG PEOPLE AROUND THE GLOBE WITH THE SKILLS AND COMMITMENTS NECESSARY TO IMAGINE COMPASSIONATE SOLUTIONS TO COMPLEX COMMUNITY PROBLEMS, AND THEN SUPPORTING THEM TO IMPLEMENT THOSE SOLUTIONSWHAT WE CALL PEACEMAKING.

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT - ALL PROGRAMMATIC ACTIVITIES THAT PEACE FIRST IMPLEMENTED, INCLUDING THE PEACE FIRST CHALLENGE, IMPACT ROOMS, THE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM, AND THE FELLOWINRESIDENCE. PEACE FIRST ALSO TRAINS AND MENTORS YOUNG PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD TO TACKLE SOCIAL INJUSTICES AND BECOME CHANGEMAKERS.
STORYTELLING - AT PEACE FIRST, STORYTELLING MEANS AMPLIFYING THE VOICES AND EXPERIENCES OF YOUNG CHANGEMAKERS TO INSPIRE OTHERS AND BUILD A MORE JUST AND PEACEFUL WORLD. WE AIM TO SHOWCASE THE INCREDIBLE IMPACT THAT YOUNG PEOPLE CAN HAVE WHEN GIVEN THE TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH YOUNG PEOPLE TO HELP THEM TELL THEIR STORIES IN THEIR OWN VOICES, WHETHER THAT'S THROUGH WRITTEN PIECES, VIDEOS, OR OTHER MEDIA. WE ALSO PRODUCE ORIGINAL CONTENT, SUCH AS SHORT FILMS AND DOCUMENTARIES, THAT HIGHLIGHT THE WORK OF YOUNG CHANGEMAKERS AND INSPIRE OTHERS TO GET INVOLVED. ADDITIONALLY, WE USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO AMPLIFY THESE STORIES AND REACH A WIDER AUDIENCE.
