ACCREDITATION SERVICES. NACEPS ACCREDITATION SERVICES ARE DEDICATED TO THE GOAL OF ENSURING THE HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PROGRAMS. THROUGH OUR RIGOROUS EVALUATION PROCESS, WE STRIVE TO GUARANTEE THAT THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH AN AUTHENTIC COLLEGE EXPERIENCE WHILE MAINTAINING CREDIBILITY, CONSISTENCY, AND CREDIT TRANSFERABILITY. NACEP OFFERS TWO ACCREDITATION ENDORSEMENTS: COLLEGE PROVIDED FACULTY (CPF) AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PARTNERSHIPS (CEP). IN 2023, WE RECEIVED ACCREDITATION APPLICATIONS FROM15PROGRAMS, AND WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE AWARDED ACCREDITATION TO 10 CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PARTNERSHIP (CEP) PROGRAMS AND 2COLLEGE PROVIDED FACULTY (CPF) PROGRAMS. WITH THIS ACCOMPLISHMENT, THE TOTAL NUMBER OF NACEP-ACCREDITED PROGRAMS NATIONWIDE IN 2023 REACHED 135, ACROSS 133 INSTITUTIONS. BY EXPANDING OUR ACCREDITED PROGRAM BASE, WE ARE ACTIVELY FOSTERING GROWTH AND QUALITY ASSURANCE IN DUAL AND CONCURRENT PROGRAMS. THIS ENSURES THAT MORE STUDENTS CAN ACCESS RIGOROUS COLLEGE-LEVEL COURSEWORK DURING THEIR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS, PROPELLING THEM TOWARDS FUTURE SUCCESS.
GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS: NACEP ENGAGES IN GOVERNMENT RELATIONS BY ADVOCATING FOR POLICIES AND LEGISLATION THAT SUPPORT AND ADVANCE THE FIELD OF DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT. WE BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH POLICYMAKERS, PROVIDE THEM WITH POLICY GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT BASED ON RESEARCH, EVIDENCE-BASED INFORMATION, AND BEST PRACTICES. WE MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO SHAPE POLICIES THAT PROMOTE EQUITABLE ACCESS, QUALITY STANDARDS, AND FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PROGRAMS. NACEP ALSO ORGANIZES EVENTS SUCH AS LEGISLATIVE BRIEFINGS, OUR WASHINGTON POLICY SEMINAR, AND MEMBER- LED ADVOCACY CAMPAIGNS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND GARNER SUPPORT FOR DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT AT THE STATE AND FEDERAL LEVELS. MEMBER SERVICES: IN 2023 NACEP HAD 500 MEMBERS REPRESENTING MORE THAN 4000 EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS. NACEP'S MEMBER SERVICES AIM TO SERVE ITS MEMBERS AND THE DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT COMMUNITY COMPREHENSIVELY. THIS INCLUDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, WEBINARS, AND THE NACEP LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, ENSURING EDUCATORS, ADMINISTRATORS, PRACTITIONERS, AND POLICYMAKERS RECEIVE ONGOING SUPPORT AND TRAINING IN BEST PRACTICES. ACCREDITATION SERVICES GUARANTEE PROGRAM QUALITY, WHILE RESOURCES SUCH AS A RESOURCE CENTER, PUBLICATIONS, A MEMBERS-ONLY FORUM, AND RESEARCH SUMMARIES EQUIP MEMBERS WITH VALUABLE TOOLS AND INSIGHTS. ADVOCACY EFFORTS AT STATE AND NATIONAL LEVELS SHAPE POLICIES SUPPORTING DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT, WHILE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND PARTNERSHIPS FOSTER COLLABORATION WITHIN THE EDUCATION COMMUNITY. NACEP ALSO RECOGNIZES EXEMPLARY PROGRAMS AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGH AWARDS AND PUBLICATIONS, ALL IN SERVICE OF ADVANCING THE FIELD AND SUPPORTING ITS MEMBERS' LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT. RESEARCH: NACEP ACTIVELY PROMOTES RESEARCH TO INFORM AND IMPROVE DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PRACTICES. LED BY THE RESEARCH COMMISSION, EFFORTS INCLUDE GRANTS, PUBLISHED SPOTLIGHTS, WEBINARS, DISCUSSION FORUMS, AND COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS TO SHAPE NATIONAL RESEARCH AGENDAS. IN 2023, THE COMMISSION PRODUCED 12 SPOTLIGHTS, AWARDED 4000 IN GRANTS, HOSTED 4 FORUMS, AND CONTRIBUTED TO A NATIONAL RESEARCH AGENDA. THROUGH THESE INITIATIVES, NACEP ADVANCES RESEARCH-BACKED BEST PRACTICES PRACTICES AND OUTCOMES.
CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS. NACEP IS THE FIRST AND ONLY NATIONAL ORGANIZATION PROVIDING CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT PROFESSIONALS. THESE ACTIVITIES AIM TO FOSTER COLLABORATION, INNOVATION, AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN THE FIELD. IN 2023, NAEP HOSTED 4 IN-PERSON EVENTS SERVING OVER 1469 PROFESSIONALS, ONE VIRTUAL EVENT WITH 87 ATTENDEES, AND PROVIDED 24 WEBINARS ATTENDED BY 905 PROFESSIONALS. ADDITIONALLY, THE NACEP LEADERSHIP ACADEMY INITIATED ITS FIFTH COHORT WITH 25 PARTICIPANTS, AIMING TO DEVELOP EMERGING LEADERS AND EXPAND ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FIELD.
OUTREACH. NACEP EXPANDS ITS NATIONAL REACH THROUGH STAFF AND VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION IN CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS, SHARING EXPERTISE IN DUAL AND CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT. IN 2023 NACEP STAFF AND VOLENTEERSWERE INVITED PRESENTERS AT 6 DIFFERENT EVENTS AND INVITED CONTENT EXPERTS ON 8 WEBINARS, FORUME, OR OTHER VIRTUAL MEETINGS. COLLABORATION WITH EDUCATION COMMUNITY PARTNERS FOSTERS JOINT INITIATIVES AND KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE. UTILIZING ITS 16 AFFILIATED CHAPTERS, NACEP EXTENDS LOCALIZED ENGAGEMENT, TARGETING SUPPORT IN SPECIFIC REGIONS OR STATES. ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT WITH POLICYMAKERS AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS SHAPES SUPPORTIVE POLICIES.
