THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES FUNDING THROUGH THE GREATER ROCHESTER HEALTH FOUNDATION, FINGER LAKES PERFORMING PROVIDER SYSTEMS, AND MOTHER CABRINI HEALTH FOUNDATION. UNDER THE PROGRAMMING FOR THE GRANT, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO REDUCE INEQUITIES IN MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH BY BUILDING CAPACITY TO FILL EXISTING GAPS IN SERVICES FOR PREGNANT AND PARENTING FAMILY, AND TO SUPPORT PARENT EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY.
THE MATERNAL AND INFANT COMMUNITY HEALTH COLLABORATIVE PROVIDES COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS FOR AT-RISK PREGNANT WOMEN, IDENTIFIES AND LINKS WOMEN NEEDING HEALTHCARE AND INSURANCE WITH APPROPRIATE RESOURCES, AND EDUCATES CONSUMERS AND HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE PROVIDERS ABOUT PERINATAL ISSUES.
