GROUP DAY HABILITATION IS OUR LARGEST PROGRAM. DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL ARE ASSISTED IN GAINING MORE INDEPENDENCE IN DAILY LIVING SKILLS. OPPORTUNITIES ARE GIVEN TO WORK WITH THE ANIMALS, IN THE GARDENS, GREENHOUSE, OR FOR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND VOLUNTEER WORK. THE PROGRAM HAS A MEDICAID CERTIFIED CAPACITY OF 42 AND 6,446 INDIVIDUAL UNITS OF SERVICE WERE PROVIDED IN 2021.
FREE STANDING RESPITE ALLOWS FAMILY MEMBERS AND OTHER CARE GIVERS TIME FOR THEMSELVES WHILE THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS ENJOY THE FARM. ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED ACCORDING TO EACH GUESTS ABILITIES, INTERESTS AND PERSONAL CHOICES.
