PUBLISH THE ROCHESTER ENGINEER MAGAZINE. THIS MONTHLY PUBLICATION CONTAINS NOTICES OF COURSES, SEMINARS, AND CAREER UPDATE PROGRAMS. THIS MAGAZINE IS DISTRIBUTED TO THE RES MEMBERSHIP AND AFFILIATE MEMBERS. IT IS OUR MAIN SOURCE OF COMMUNICATION TO THE MEMBERSHIP AND AN ADVERTISING VEHICLE. EACH ISSUE IS POSTED TO OUR WEBSITE.
RENT FACILITIES FOR THE ROCHESTER ENGINEERS' CENTER, MAINTENANCE, TELEPHONE/FAX, WEBSITE, OFFICE SUPPLIES. THE RES LOCATES IT'S OFFICE AT THE ROCHESTER MUSEUM AND SCIENCE CENTER. IT HOLDS BOARD MEETINGS HERE MONTHLY AND PERIODICALLY HAS GENERAL MEETINGS, TRAINING PROGRAMS, AND NETWORKING ACTIVITIES THERE. THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MUSEUM IS CONSISTENT WITH THEIR DESIRE FOR A DEEPER STEM INITIATIVE AND A GOOD PARTNERSHIP FOR OUTREACH AND VOLUNTEERISM FOR OUR PROGRAMS.
SUPPORT OUR AFFILIATE ORGANIZATIONS IN SUCCESSFUL OFFERING OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND OUTREACH EVENTS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT BY POSTING INFORMATION ABOUT THE ANNUAL FALL BRIDGE ENGINEERS CONFERENCE ON THE THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE, PROVIDING A CONFERENCE REGISTRATION PORTAL, ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT, AND CREATING A CONFERENCE BOOKLET. THE ORGANIZATION SOLICITS APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS, ADMINISTERS THE PROCESS, DETERMINES THE RECIPIENTS AND AWARDS THE SCHOLARSHIPS.
