LIBRARY SERVICES - BROOME COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY CONTINUED TO SUPPORT AND BE A MAJOR PARTNER IN THE OPERATION OF THE BROOME COUNTY LOCAL HISTORY & GENEALOGY CENTER WHICH HAS A COLLECTION OF 142,000 ITEMS, AND THE NORMAL ANNUAL ATTENDANCE OF OVER 20,000 RESEARCHERS. THAT WAS GREATLY REDUCED WHEN THE CENTER CIOSED IN MARCH DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. HOWEVER, CORRESPONDENCE AND ELECTRONIC INQUIRIES CONTINUE.
PUBLICATIONS - THE BROOME COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY PUBLISHED TWO ISSUES OF ITS NEWSLETTER, AS WELL AS PUBLISHING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH DEVIL'S FIRE BY BRIAN FREY.
