THE ORGANIZATION SERVES AS A COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER AND PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS TO BE ENGAGED IN THEIR STUDENTS' DEVELOPMENT. THE CAREER READINESS WORKSHOPS GIVE STUDENTS DIRECT INTERACTION WITH SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONALS WHO SHARE THEIR FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCES AND PRACTICAL INDUSTRY SPECIFIC INFORMATION. ADELANTE SCHOLARS HELPS YOUTH DEVELOP POSITIVE STUDY HABITS, CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS, AND IMPROVE ACADEMIC PROGRESS AND ACHIEVEMENT IN PREPARATION FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION. OUR HOLISTIC APPROACH TO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND SUCCESS, APPRECIATE EACH PERSON AS UNIQUE. AS SUCH, WELLNESS SUPPORT HAS BEEN INTEGRATED INTO OUR PROGRAMMING.
