THE GREATER BINGHAMTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S MISSION IS TO SERVE AS THE PREMIER RESOURCE FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT IN ITS REGION. THE CHAMBER AIMS TO SUPPORT THE EXISTING LOCAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND ATTRACT NEW BUSINESSES TO THE REGION THROUGH MEMBER-DRIVEN PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AND DEVELOP STRATEGIC COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS AND EFFECTIVE POLITICAL ADVOCACY.

CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU (CVB) SEEKS TO BRING REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND LEISURE VISITORS TO GREATER BINGHAMTON FOR THE ECONOMIC BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY. CVB HOSTS EVENTS AND PROMOTES THE GREATER BINGHAMTON AREA THROUGH ITS WEBSITE AND BRANDING INITIATIVE.
COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDE BINGHAMTON BRIDGE RUN HALF MARATHON & 5K, ANNUAL DINNER, GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS, OJT GRANT PROGRAM, CHAMBER CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT, BUSINESS OF THE WEEK RIBBON CUTTINGS, WINE TASTING EVENT.
SOUTHERN TIER WELCOME CENTER IS A WELCOME CENTER LOCATED IN KIRKWOOD, NY ON INTERSTATE-81. THE WELCOME CENTER OFFERS THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION AND TRAVEL SERVICE TO TRAVELERS.
