PROGRAMS AND EVENTS: THE CHAMBER HOSTS ANNUAL, QUARTERLY AND MONTHLY PROGRAMS RANGING FROM EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND NETWORKING SESSIONS TO LOCAL AND CIVIC EVENTS. THESE PROGRAMS AND EVENTS PROVIDE OUR MEMBERS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND REGIONAL EXPOSURE.
ADVOCACY: THE CHAMBER PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH A DIRECT CONNECTION TO LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND POLICY-MAKERS. OUR ADVOCACY TEAM WORKS ON BEHALF OF MEMBERS TO PROMOTE PUBLIC POLICY THAT WILL BOLSTER THE REGION'S ECONOMY AND IMPROVE OUR COMPETITIVENESS ON A NATIONAL AND GLOBAL SCALE. IN ADDITION, WE ARE A COMMUNITY PARTNER AND CREATE BROAD-BASED COALITIONS AROUND ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO THE REGION'S BUSINESS COMMUNITY, INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION, INFRASTRUCTURE, EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.
