AKIN HALL MUSEUM AND LIBRARY OPERATIONS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. LOCAL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS OCCASIONALLY TAKE FIELD TRIPS TO THE MUSEUM TO LEARN ABOUT LOCAL HISTORY AND TOUR THE EXHIBITS OF A VARIETY OF NATURAL AND CULTURAL SPECIMENS. THE LIBRARY CONTAINS A CATALOG OF A VARIETY OF BOOKS.
