THE MISSION OF THE WALLKILL PUBLIC LIBRARY IS TO PROVIDE OUR COMMUNITY WITH ACCESS TO THE HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS, SERVICES, AND PROGRAMS, AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION, EDUCATION, ENTERTAINMENT, AND CULTURAL ENRICHMENT. THE LIBRARY ENABLES PEOPLE TO EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE, ENCOURAGES PERSONAL GROWTH, AND ENHANCES THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

AT THE END OF 2021, THE LIBRARY'S COLLECTION INCLUDED: 16276 PRINT MATERIALS, 268195 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS, AND 2,228 OTHER MATERIALS. THIS BEING A COMBINED TOTAL OF 286,699 MATERIALS FOR THE LIBRARY'S PATRONS TO USE AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION, EDUCATION, ENTERTAINMENT, AND CULTURAL ENRICHMENT.
IN 2021, THESE FUNDS WERE SPENT ON TECHNOLOGY. THERE WERE 17,886 VISITS TO THE LIBRARY'S WEBSITE DURING 2021.
